Meet Samantha Thandolwenkosi Tshuma.
I am 16 years old and I was born on the 10th of May 2001. I was born in South Africa but raised in Zimbabwe. I moved to the UK at 5 years old alone to join my mother. I currently live in Bradford west Yorkshire. I am student in collage about to finish my first year. I am the only child from my mother but I have three another siblings from my Father's side. When i was 8 years I deiced to join the choir in church which has lead to become a gospel singer. i have being singing for 10 years and also been in the choir for 9 years going to 10 years. Worshipping God is one of my favourite things to do. Hopefully one day I can record some songs and put it out there for people to hear, I do write a lot of songs. I used write a lot of slam poetry about the things I have been through in my life and how I feel about the things that happen in society to young people. I used to write poems that young people can relate to.
In 2017 I started my own clothing brand called "YouSlayClothing"
The brand is really is about empowering yourself as a female and empowering other females around you or in your life. The message be hide the brand is to say that no matter what you go through as a female, no matter the challenges you're faced with, no matter what is happening around you or what is happening to you. Must know that YouSlay no matter WHAT!. You must know that whatever you facing cannot defeat as a woman and cannot put you down. For the young girls i feel like we are too discourage for our appearance. In my own opinion i feel like we are too judged for how we look and what we wear and what we look like. I feel like we are mostly judged on our weight as young girls and how "we are young to be thick, we are to young to be a size 12 and above. We must be skinny and wear a curtain size" My clothing line goes against that. My clothing line is for all sizes and is sending a message to all females that no matter what size you are " YouSlay" the way you are and "YouSlay All Day, Everyday". The clothing I design is based on what people want to see from YouSlayClothing. I always try hard to make sure people get want they want. We have a summer collection coming out on the 25th May 2018 and we are doing a Giveaway and the winners will also be announced on the 25th of May.
